We have a passion for gardening, so much so, that in our spare time (after maintaining all of our customers’ gardens) we like to travel and film gardens in Australia and around the world.

We will talk to any group or club (depending on the tyranny of distance). Our presentations feature Fran’s high resolution digital images projected onto a large screen. Paul, Dip.T. MAIH has spoken to many groups and gatherings including garden clubs, CWAs, horticultural societies and conferences, even the French Embassy in Canberra and Sydney's Royal Botanic Gardens.

Presentations usually run for 35 – 45 minutes, including question / discussion time. We supply the projection equipment and ask in return that we are able to offer a small selection of our exclusive garden products for sale after the talk.

Talks currently available include:

Le Potager - Edible Art? This presentation discusses the French tradition of ornamental vegetable gardening or ‘le potager’ where vegetables, herbs, fruit and flowers are all grown together. We look at the history as well as present day examples of both Romantic and Formal Potagers including the King’s Vegetable garden at Versailles and Chateau Villandry in the Loire Valley.

France - Travelling with Roses After listening to a presentation by garden photographer and author, the late James Young, we were inspired to visit France. There we filmed many of the gardens mentioned by James, although, wherever we went, we seemed to travel with roses.

New Zealand - Meet the Neighbours Great gardens, great design ideas from Aotearoa, including plants endemic to New Zealand that seem to pop up across ‘the ditch’ in Australia.

New Zealand - Travelling with Roses  is also available

Our newest talk - Norfolk's Bounty - History and natural beauty meet horticulture and agriculture on the small Pacific island of Norfolk. Yet, what is Norfolk's true bounty?
